Data collected and purposes

Contact form: name, email address, service concerned, content of the message. Purpose: to respond to your request and, where applicable, to prepare a quote. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request.

Contact via WhatsApp: phone number, profile name and content of the conversation. Purpose: to respond to your request. These conversations go through the services of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, which are subject to its own privacy policy.

Subscribing to a plan: name, company, company or VAT number, billing address, email address. Purposes: performance of the contract, invoicing, compliance with accounting and tax obligations. Legal bases: performance of the contract and legal obligation. Payments are processed by Stripe: Elax Studio never has access to your card details or your full bank details.

Audience measurement and advertising (only with your consent): browsing data, cookie identifiers, pages viewed, actions taken on the website. Purposes: understanding how the website is used, measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and showing relevant ads on other platforms. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Cookies and trackers

Non-essential cookies are only set after you have agreed to them through the consent banner. They fall into two categories:

• Audience measurement: Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited)
• Advertising: Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited), Pinterest Tag (Pinterest Europe Limited), TikTok Pixel (TikTok Technology Limited), LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company)

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page. The detailed list of cookies, their purpose and their duration is shown in the table below.

Recipients and processors

Your data is never sold. It is only accessible to Elax Studio and to the providers strictly necessary for the website and services to work:

• Hostinger International Ltd (website hosting)
• Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (payment processing)
• Usercentrics A/S (consent management, Cookiebot)
• Google, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok and LinkedIn (audience measurement and advertising, only with your consent)

Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Union. These transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (an adequacy decision, in particular the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).

Retention periods

• Contact requests with no follow-up: 2 years from the last exchange
• Client data: for the duration of the contractual relationship, then 7 years for accounting records, in line with Belgian legal obligations
• Cookie consent: 13 months at most, after which you are asked for your choice again
• Audience measurement data: 14 months

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to contact@elax.studio. You will receive a reply within one month.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données), rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels (contact@apd-gba.be).
